Sen Senra - La Ultima Misa
SEN SENRA - LA ÚLTIMA MISA (SPANISH TOUR)
MOVEMENT DIRECTION & CHOREOGRAPHY
La Última Misa was designed to feel like stepping inside a music video or a museum installation.
Created for Sen Senra's Spanish tour, the performance treated the concert as an image-making space: each scene composed as a frame, each gesture chosen for how it reads at a distance and up close. The movement direction worked with stillness as much as motion figures moving in and out of proximity, the stage organized like a sequence of shots. As if you could see a videoclip for the album developing live.
The choreographic language was built in close collaboration with the performers, letting individual textures and personal gestures accumulate into something collective. Not only a show, but a living image.
The choreographic research focused on translating the album’s emotional landscape into bodily presence: repetition, suspension, closeness, and expansion. Each scene was designed to move between softness and tension, creating a shifting atmosphere that evolved throughout the tour.
Touring across Sevilla (Cartuja Center), A Coruña (Coliseum) , Valencia (Roig Arena) & Madrid (Wizink Center)
movement direction & choreography: TOMÁS PINTOS
co-choreographer & assistant director: DAVID GRIMALDI
performers & co-creators: IBAI GIMENEZ PAULA TATO AMY LYM DAVID GRIMALDI JULIA KAYSER
