Campaign inspired by The Last Feast of Sardanapalus, exploring excess, beauty, and defiance through a contemporary queer lens. Drawing from the archives of PAOLA REVENIOTI and the Athenian queer underground of the 1980s and 90s, the project reflects on a context shaped by censorship, marginalization, and resistance.
The series reimagines these references in the present, constructing a visual dialogue between past and current forms of identity, desire, and representation. Through staging, casting, and image-making, the campaign positions the body as a site of transformation — where archive and fiction collide, and where beauty exists beyond imposed norms.
